Blogging to Anonymous

There has been a recent uproar over a blogger "outing" an anonymous blogger for reasons that may be less than honorable. Read a good synopsis here. I choose to blog under my own name for a couple of reasons. First, I'm not ashamed of any position I might have on a given subject. You can disagree with me and that's fine. I'll take your criticism in stride. Second, I believe that by blogging under your own name, you have to put your personal honor in front of you. You can't hide behind a pseudonym and throw caution to the wind in any remarks or posts.

If there is something that I want to post, it gets filtered through my "G" ratings filter. There are always ways to say things that do not have to involve vulgarity or abusive language. That's my plan and I'm sticking with it! That doesn't mean to say that I can't use double entendre or innuendo. That's something that you see all the time in G-Rated Disney movies. After all, you have to be able to entertain the adults too!
