A Rising Tide?

There is plenty to be anxious about. The Obama administration is spending (borrowed) money and nationalizing bigger chunks of our economy faster than anyone could believe possible, much less imagine. Despite the fact that we were warned and 60 million voters said NO, the result is what it is.

I'm beginning to sense some awakening within the 69 million that said YES. The gap is closing, rapidly. Keep in mind that we are only 6 months into the Obama presidency. As Sarah Palin said, "Told ya so". People are starting to understand and, I believe, beginning to pay attention to the direction we're heading.

Do the math. It will take a (relatively) small swing in voter sentiment to turn this around. Granted, we only have Congressional elections to look forward to next year, but I think this trend will continue and influence those elections. I should add - God willing!

  1. We'll see -- unless they go ahead and find a way to give amnesty to millions of law-breaking parasites. Then we're screwed.

  2. I am optimistic and I think you are right. The independents that voted for Obama have to be waking up and saying "what have we done?". We just have to keep up the talking points, stick to our prinipals and we will win out.

  4. Oh, Jim, that's a mistake that's SO hard to forgive. . .but if you'll help get the truth out, then I'll extend you lots of grace. :) Thanks for being willing to admit a mistake. . .takes a big person to do that.

  5. I just hope that we can take back the America we all knew and not all is lost. What a wake up call that the stimulus spending more money than all the Presidents combined. China is laughing at us when we said we have it under control.

  6. Jim - If only others who voted for Obama will now see the results of their vote we have a chance of straightening out this mess. It's hard to believe what has happened in just over four months!

You'll be a good spokesperson for getting the truth out there.
