From Politico:
George F. Will, the elite conservative commentator, will call in his next column for U.S. ground troops to leave Afghanistan, according to publishing sources.
“[F]orces should be substantially reduced to serve a comprehensively revised policy: America should do only what can be done from offshore, using intelligence, drones, cruise missiles, airstrikes and small, potent special forces units, concentrating on the porous 1,500-mile border with Pakistan, a nation that actually matters,” Will writes in the column, scheduled for publication later this week.

I think George Will is the perfect person to send the Obama administration to ruin in Afghanistan. I can just hear the White House elites saying "OMG, George Will thinks we should pull out of Afghanistan! We have our cover".
It don't really care if we pull out. Although I would like to see success, it's becoming apparent that the Obama administration is incapable of it. It would be better to save the troops for real leadership that to have them commanded by a fool.
Let Obama take the fall for failure in Afghanistan. It's the least we can do.
BTW, I am no fan of George Will.
