So what does he do next? He inserts himself into the Wisconsin budget debate by saying:
"Some of what I've heard coming out of Wisconsin, where they're just making it harder for public employees to collectively bargain generally, seems like more of an assault on unions."Well, at least he's finally asserting himself...in a non-federal issue. This reminds me of his statement back in 2009 about police that "acted stupidly" when arresting Henry Louis Gates, Jr. in Cambridge. Perhaps Obama is better-suited to a state or municipal level of government.
