All In for Cruz!

Not that anything I say or do will change the course of history, but I need to get in my 2 cents' worth.

You see, I supported Ted Cruz when he ran for the Senate in Texas back in 2012. (The photo above was taken when Rick Santorum came to Texas to throw his support behind Ted's run for the Senate.) I liked his message of smaller government, repealing Obamacare and eliminating the IRS, among other things. After winning, Ted Cruz went to Washington D.C. and did exactly what he said he'd do, no ifs, ands, or buts about it!

It's pretty hard to imagine a politician that actually does what he says he'll do during a campaign. Ted Cruz has proven to be an exception. Consequently, I trust him to represent ME!

He's getting hammered at every turn right now, just like he was when he ran for Senate. The thing of it is, if you really listen to him or get a chance to seem him in person, you'll understand. He speaks with conviction and you can't help but like him. As a result, he weathered the storm in Texas during his Senate run, and we're much better off for it. Now, he has to do it again, but on a national level.

Ted Cruz has my enthusiastic support as candidate from the Republican Party for President of the United States! I implore you to listen to him and truly hope that you'll give him the benefit of a doubt. I do not believe he'll disappoint you!

My Choice for the Democrat's Presidential Nomination: Hillary Clinton

Dear Hillary,

Please run for your party's Presidential nomination. Lord knows, you might just win it! I can't think of anyone better to put up against a conservative Republican. Note that I said "conservative". I'm not talking about RINOs, I'm talking about conservatives. You know, Ted Cruz conservatives.

Oh, you think George W. Bush was a conservative? Au contraire! George Bush was no conservative. Compassionate conservatism is an oxymoron. Conservative doesn't need a qualifier. It stands alone as the predominate mindset of a majority of Americans. It is the essence of compassion, because it assures that everyone gets the same opportunity to succeed....or fail. It has contributed to the greatest economy the world has ever known, not to say the most freedom ever enjoyed by a population.

The problem is that you and your fellow Democrats have decided that failure should not be an option. I say that failure is the biggest motivator of success, because in this country, you can always pick yourself up and try again. Just do a Google search to find out how many successful people in this country failed before they achieved success. They are legion!

Yes, I formally endorse you as the preferred candidate of the Democratic Party for President of the United States. If the Republicans nominate a true conservative, the White House is ours. If not, well, you can preside over the break-up of the United States as we know it.

Thank God I live in Texas!

BTW, Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana stand with Texas! Doubt me? Wait until the 2012 election results are in.
